At Backyard Play Australia, we specialise in supplying high-quality outdoor play equipment designed for big backyard adventures. As our cubby houses, climbing frames and play equipment are large and a little heavy, shipping isn’t one-size-fits-all. Below you’ll find important information about how delivery works for your order.
Domestic Shipping – Australia Only
We currently ship Australia-wide only. International shipping is not available.
Because our products vary in size and weight, shipping costs are calculated individually based on:
· The specific product purchased
· The size and weight of the item(s)
· Your delivery postcode
To keep things simple and transparent, please use our shipping calculator to calculate your delivery cost based on your location before completing your purchase. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Delivery Options
Direct to Your Home
Orders can be delivered directly to your nominated address.
Depot Collection (Where Available)
In some cases, we may be able to arrange delivery to a local freight depot to help reduce shipping costs. You can then collect your order at a time that suits you.
If depot collection is available for your order, we’ll let you know.
Freight & Delivery Timeframes
Due to the large and heavy nature of our products, delivery timeframes can vary depending on:
- Your location
- The supplier’s dispatch point
- Carrier availability
Once your order is processed, we’ll provide tracking details and an estimated delivery timeframe. We work with super reliable freight partners experienced in transporting bulky outdoor items safely across Australia.
Processing & Handling
Orders are typically processed within 2 - 4 business days of payment confirmation.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive freight booking confirmation and tracking information.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
We take great care to ensure your order arrives safely.
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide:
- Photos of the packaging
- Photos of the damaged item
In the rare event that freight is "directionally challenged" (delayed or off-course) please notify us immediately so we can open an inquiry with the carrier.
One Last Thing
Our play equipment is built for real backyard fun and SAFE which means it’s sturdy, solid and not exactly “pop it in a satchel” size. Because of this, freight is calculated individually so you only pay what’s required for your location.
