Thanks for stopping by Backyard Play Australia. We’re two Queensland parents raising six energetic girls between us (yep SIX) so when we say we understand backyard chaos, we mean it. Our days revolved around fresh air, muddy feet, cartwheels on the lawn and finding ways to get kids off screens and into real life. We believe childhood should be loud. Imaginative. Active. A little bit messy. And mostly outdoors. Backyard Play Australia was born from that belief. We’ve seen firsthand how powerful outdoor play is for strong bodies, confident minds and genuinely happy kids. A great backyard isn’t just grass and fencing… it becomes the stage for treehouse secrets, wobbly handstands, made-up games and family memories that stick for decades.

While Backyard Play Australia is a new brand, we’re not new to building businesses. Marianne brings over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience. Chris brings 30. Between us, we’ve built trusted, service-driven companies grounded in high standards and straight-up honesty. Safety, quality and reliability aren’t buzzwords to us. They’re non-negotiables  especially when it comes to products our own kids would climb all over. If we wouldn’t put it in our backyard, we won’t sell it in yours.
