    Bathroom Routine Sign Set

    Bathroom Routine Sign Set

Clear visual prompts for common bathroom routines.

    Why it may help

Washing and toileting involve a long sequence of steps that can become hard to hold in order. Simple picture prompts on the wall let the person follow the routine themselves, which keeps a private task private for longer.

    Key features

Step-by-step images for handwashing, toileting and brushing teeth. Moisture-resistant for bathroom use. High-contrast and large enough to read from across the room. Adhesive backing that removes cleanly.

    How to use

Place each prompt exactly where the step happens, the handwashing sequence above the basin, not on the door. Point rather than instruct where possible.

    Who it may not suit

Some people find instructional signs in their own bathroom demeaning. If that is the case, quiet verbal prompting at the right moment achieves the same thing with less cost to dignity.
